2013 Dynastar Exclusive Legend Paradise Review

We've been on a little bit of a 98 mm underfoot all mountain ski kick lately here on the blog, but we haven't hit on many women's models.

The Dynastar Exclusive Legend Paradise is one of our favorite women's skis, regardless of width category, but it happens to fall into the range that we consider a great quiver-of-one for Tahoe and other western ski areas, especially for female skiers with a bias towards off-piste and soft snow.

SierraJim tested the Exclusive Legend Paradise (yes, he even tests the women's skis) and really liked the "Spring Blade Construction" That tapers the tip and tail to reduce swing weight and soften flex. It's still medium flex underfoot with a good camber section for firm snow carving. Tip and a little bit of tail rocker make it quick to turn and easy to float in powder and variable snow.

Quincy has been using the Dynastar Exclusive Legend Paradise both in-bounds and in the backcountry, and says it's a really versatile ski, great in all different conditions. See her video here:

It's not just a shrunken and soften men's ski - Dynastar actually took the time to consider the bio-mechanics of a woman's body in constructing this ski.

Skiing Magazine called this ski "Versatile and effortless," and an "off-piste neophyte's dream." thanks to a big sweet spot and a damp, silky-smooth ride.

It's a great option for a woman who is ready to make the step from staying on the groomed runs to venturing into un-groomed snow and into the trees.
