We're starting a weekly post here at the Start Haus to bring you all the Tahoe ski news you need. We'll post up racing info, Tahoe ski events, wax calls, ski deals and more here every Friday.

Ski season is in full swing here in Tahoe with just about every ski resort spinning lifts, and ski racing season is almost upon us.

Racers: make sure your all set for the season with the right gear, a good tune and the perfect boot fit here at the Start Haus.

It's important to shop early this season - especially for race ski equipment - supplies will be very limited this season thanks to last year's slow season and the European economy. Some manufacturers are already sold out with no stock more available.
