Happy holidays from the Start Haus crew! We've been dreaming of a white Christmas and it looks like we've got it! If you haven't been here before, this is our weekly Tahoe Ski News blog post, where we tell you about ski conditions, racing, events, wax calls and ski deals every Friday.

The skiing here in Tahoe has been amazing the last few days, and another storm is bearing down on us that promises to bring up to 4-5 feet just in time for Christmas!

In racing news, Far West Skiing USSA SR-U21/18 have a Divisional FIS event coming up Jan 4-6 at Squaw Valley (invitation only). The Tahoe Ski Legue will be getting started at Auburn Ski Club on January 12-13.

Around the Tahoe resorts - all mountains are now open! All the resorts have plenty of holiday events on tap, and Ski with Jonny Moseley days are on tap next week at both Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley. Boreal has the Volcom Peanut Butter & Rail Jam coming up on January 5 for all you park people, and Mt. Rose has new years eve fireworks and a torchlight parade on tap.
