In racing news, Far West Skiing USSA SR-U21/18 have a Divisional FIS event coming up Jan 4-6 at Squaw Valley (invitation only). The Tahoe Ski Legue will be getting started at Auburn Ski Club on January 12-13.
Around the Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts - Ski with Jonny Moseley days are on tap next week at both Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley. Boreal has the Volcom Peanut Butter & Rail Jam coming up on January 5 for all you park people, and Mt. Rose has new years eve fireworks and a torchlight parade coming up next week.

Speaking of "Find Phil on the Hill," Phil, or Philpug as he's known world wide on the popular online ski forum epicski.com already has over 20 days on the hill - and he's always testing out different different ski equipment for the shop. He lives, breaths, and eats skiing - if you search for a ski review online, odds are one of his will pop up. Besides knowing our ski wall backwards and forwards, Phil is also an expert boot fitter. His online reputation draws skiers from around the country to our Truckee shop.
