In ski racing news, Far West Skiing U10/U12/U14 racers go down to Snow Summit this weekend, U15 skiers head to Mammoth for Wild West on Feb 22-23, and SR-U18 skiers head to Snow King on Feb. 21-24. Tahoe League Ski Racing has GS events at both Diamond Peak and Sierra At Tahoe on Feb. 23.

In other events at Tahoe Ski Resorts, Sugar Bowl Backcountry 1 Day is a great way to dip your toes with a guide into the out-of-bounds awesomeness on Donner Summit. Alpine Meadows is hosting the Tahoe Jr. Freeride Series on Feb. 16.

Jared Licht, sales

Jared is one of our ski experts, and the man behind our move to carry stand up paddle boards this summer. Jared has worked at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, lead nordic skiing trips for people with disabilities, and has a lot of expertise in powder skis and backcountry skiing, so if you're looking for a ski to get you fresh tracks out of bounds, he's great to talk to. He is also a water sports guru, teaching stand up paddle boarding, and has run class 3 whitewater on a SUP. If you've got a question on Stand Up Paddle Boards, he's your man.
