Free Shipping Policy

Online orders of $50 or more receive free shipping, restrictions are below.*

*Excludes sale items and bikes. Complete adult bikes ship at a $75 flat ground shipping rate within the United States beginning in Spring 2024. Bikes on sale and/or junior bikes are not available for shipping and can only be picked up in-store.  A delivery signature will be required for all shipped bikes. Skis on sale ship at a $35 flat ground rate within the United States.

How We Package Equipment

At Start Haus, we take the time to protect your equipment. Each package is boxed with 200-pound per square inch rated cardboard to resist puncturing, giving your gear the best ride possible.  All excess space is padded with material to keep the equipment snug in its container.

All packages shipped UPS ground will be sent without a Signature Requirement. If you'd like your order shipped as Signature Required, send an email to online@starthaus.com. Start Haus is not liable for lost packages or shipments.

Shipping Bikes

We build up and fully assemble each bike from scratch, test the bike, then disassemble and pack for shipping. Some basic assembly will be required when you receive the bike. It's recommended you have a professional bike mechanic assemble the bike for you, or if comfortable, do some wrenching on your own! 

Where is my stuff?

As our magical shipping elves go through the process of picking, packing and shipping your order, you should receive email updates along the way. Make sure your junk-mail filters accept the email address, online@starthaus.com.

To check the status of your order online, log into your starthaus.com account to view your order history. If your order has shipped, there will be a tracking number listed in your order details. You should also receive an email containing your tracking number from the UPS or USPS website.

Order Cancellations

Should you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.  Once an item ships, we can recall a package (via UPS only) for a $25 fee.  UPS in turn charges us to recall the package.  Should a mistake occur in the pricing, order process, or item listing, Start Haus reserves the right to cancel the order and offer a full refund at our discretion.  We strive to make our listing as accurate as possible, but errors do sometimes occur.

How long will it take to get here?

Shipment time varies depending on the service you have selected. If you place your order before 1pm Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday, it will ship the same day. If you absolutely have to get something by a certain date, UPS 3-Day, UPS 2nd Day or UPS Next Day air service is advised, as UPS guarantees these delivery dates. How much will it cost to ship X to Y?

We offer a shipping cost estimator tool, and you don't need to sign in or create an account to use it. To figure out your exact shipping costs, add all of the products you would like to your shopping cart. Then click on your shopping cart. At the bottom of the cart there is a link, ESTIMATED SHIPPING AND TAX.  This will then display the shipping options and cost for your order.

What shipping services do you provide?
