It's the biggest event of the year! High-quality used ski gear will be lined up and on sale over Labor Day Weekend during the annual Start Haus Ski Consignment Sale. We literally take in 100s of pairs of skis - and it is some great gear - including, backcountry skis, powder skis, all-mountain skis, race skis, carving skis and speed suits. Peruse a wide range of ski gear, outfit the entire family for the winter and get great deals all weekend long.

Sell Your SkisIt's time to dust off that ski gear and get it ready for the annual Start Haus Consignment Sale! We are accepting skis between August 2 through Aug 29, 2025. Bring in your powder skis, carving skis, backcountry skis, all-mountain skis, groomer skis and race skis for the sale.... we are taking it all! Flat or mounted! All customers who sell their gear during the consignment sale receive 70% back in the form of in-store credit or 60% back as cash (check). Psst....If you are bringing in race skis please make sure they are five years old or newer. We are also accepting untattered speed suits. All ski bindings must be indemnified. When you drop off your skis we will work with you on determining a price for your gear. |
After the SaleShortly after the sale ends Labor Day Weekend we will be in touch to let you know if your gear sold or not. You Sold Your Gear: Hurray! You sold your gear at the consignment sale! Consignment in-store credit (in the form of gift cards) and checks will be available to pick up Friday, September 8. A reminder that you get to choose either 70% in-store credit or 60% in cash (check). Shucks. Your Gear Didn't Sell: If your gear didn't sell you have until Monday, Sept 15 to pick up your unsold skis. After that date, it will be donated. |

Deluxe Tune

Includes brake adjustment of the front and rear, derailleur adjustments, minor truing of wheels, lubrication of chains and cables, tightening of all bolts and hardware, drivetrain cleaning, and bearing adjustment.

Includes the above + basic bike wash & wipe down w/ Lust Polish, flush and bleed brakes, full wheel truing off bike, check and adjust bottom brackets and pedals.

Mountain Bike In-House Suspension Rebuilds at Start Haus
We've assembled some of the most knowledgeable and experienced bike mechanics in Northern California. With a range of disciplines and specialties, there is nothing that our bike crew can’t do. We've invested thousands of dollars in tooling to increase our capability to perform both air and damper service on front and rear suspension.
So what makes our MTB suspension rebuilds different? We’re not just going to drop your lowers and throw on some new dust seals. We fully disassemble your equipment, replace all seals, recharge the nitrogen when applicable, and reassemble to factory specs. We're an authorized Fox, RockShox, EVIL, Liv and Giant dealer and use original equipment parts and fluids whenever possible. This is a complete service, just like what the manufacturer would do.
