FREE Ski Tuning Clinic Series at Start Haus!
Our lead technician, Brandon Sims, will take us through three separate clinics teaching multiple levels of tuning and maintenance. Covering all ends of the spectrum, the first clinic will focus in basic maintenance and wax techniques, the second talks up advanced race tuning and the final clinic will have a spring tuning / summer storage focus - to get you dialed for the off-season. This series is progressive, so mark your calendars and join us for all three of these free and informative clinics at the shop. Psst... snowboarders welcome too!
Clinic #1: Intro to Ski & Board Tuning Basics
Saturday, February 15 from 6 to 7pm at the Shop
Discuss basic ski constructions and introduction to tuning techniques.
- Basic tune kit setup
- Covering ski & board cleaning/prep
- Edge sharpening/ de-burr maintenance
- Waxing (iron & liquid) PS-wax application.
- Basic care, handling and storage.
